Travel Tips! Thai islands

Ko Tao, Thailand

Siam scuba were really good to dive with. Chumphon pinnacle was an amazing dive.

Boba Sushi- amazing food, very cheap. Huge portions.

Kit kat restaurant- 2 for 1 pizzas.

Sunset motors- a scooter cost 200thb for a day. Great condition and easy to deal with.

John Suwan viewpoint- 50thb for the road then 50thb per person. Awesome views. Challenging climb to the top.

Tanote bay- insane snorkling many many fish.

Oxygen snorkling tour- 5 different bays around the island including Nang Guan and lunch. On Nang Guan food is expensive and it cost 100thb to enter.

Koh Phangan, Thailand

Adam big bike- for scooter rentals is a 5 minute walk from the pier. No hassle returning and a good price.

Zeus, Haad Rin- good burger joint.

Dive sail rock with Lotus Diving- 5 star company.

Full moon party- we arrived 7pm, skipping the entry fee. It was crazy very busy lots of cheap drink, food and alot of fire.

Driving- be careful the roads are challenging and the locals drive like crazy.

Ko Samui, Thailand

My least favourite island. We stayed at Samui backpacker hostel which was great, modern clean rooms and a nice pool. The island as a whole had a commercial feel to it.

Ark bar, lively beach club in Chewang beach.

Patong, Thailand

From Khao sok we took a coach then public bus and taxi taking just over 5hours. The buses can run ahead of schedule.

Wave boutique hotel, good room, poor swimming pool.

Very cheap drinks and much more of a party atmosphere than Bangkok. Reminded me of a European party resort like Ayia Napa.

taxi app Grab- good prices and reliable.

Banadara beach resort, amazing rooms and great infinity pool overlooking the bay.

My friend just opened a hostel VIBES PARTY HOSTEL – go check it out this place looks insane.

Phi Phi, Thailand

Very small island! You can walk from one side to the other in 5 minutes.

Pirate party boat was good fun.

Pp Charlie beach resort- great hotel, 2 pools on the beach and an extensive breakfast.

Basil bistro- great thai curries costing 90thb (just over £2)

Prices in shops very much inflated due to it being a small island – water cost 18thb compared with 7thb in Bangkok (2017).
